Seriously, every time I see one of these photographs, I can’t get my head around the fact that the shuttle isn’t carrying the 747. It’s like one of those optical illusions where you know what you’re meant to see but you just can’t seem to get it to ‘click’.

the 747 is carrying the shuttle…it carried it across the eastern states lower than normal just to show it off…on it’s way to that aircraft museum, i think it’s part of the smithsonian. cause they are done with the space program :(
